Dementia Friendly and Relaxed Performances

Relaxed Performances

Our relaxed performances welcome individuals, groups and families with children on the autism spectrum, with sensory and communication disorders, a learning disability or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment.

My non-verbal daughter loved it all. She was entranced by the singing and dancing. A wonderfully accessible afternoon

Dementia-Friendly performances

Dementia-Friendly performances welcome individuals living with dementia, as well as their friends, families and carers. Minor adjustments will be made to ensure a more dementia-friendly atmosphere.

All of our Box Office and Front of House staff have received Dementia Friends training; they wear a blue Dementia Friends pin on their uniform.

Led by our Senior Community and Outreach Manager, CFT also delivers a programme of Dementia Friendly activities for everyone to enjoy. Events include tea dances, backstage tours and weekly Mind, Body Sing! sessions especially designed for those living with dementia and their carers.
