News Story

There’s a warm welcome waiting for everyone at CFT. In case you’ve never been before, here are some things you might not know about us, or things you might have assumed:

It’s really expensive

Tickets for our shows start from just £10 or £15 – the same price as 10 years ago. We have a range of discounts available, check out our Tips and Tricks guideto find out how to get the best value for money from your Festival 2026 bookings.

You have to dress up really fancy

There is no dress code for an evening at CFT (with the exception of gala night!). Glam up if you’d like to but be comfortable, as you will be sitting for most of your visit.

It’s not for young people

Theatre is for everyone, and at CFT people aged 16-30 can get tickets for just £5. And it's not just shows we have to offer here, we have events, career and networking opportunities, Youth Theatre, and café discounts all available to you. Discover how to access them here.

It’s old-fashioned

Eight of our shows this year are world premieres –  brand new theatre starting here in Sussex!

Only invited people can go to Previews

Preview performances may be tweaked slightly to adjust to the stage and audience reactions. Tickets are cheaper, and everyone is welcome to book. After the Press Night (which is also open to all!), the director won't make any further changes.

We can't wait to welcome you this Festival Season - if you have any questions about booking, don't hesitate to get in touch by calling 01243 781312 or emailing box.office@cft.org.uk.
