Are you over 65 and looking for an artistic outlet, as well as a chance to meet like-minded people? Our Chatter Project could be for you. We run free weekly sessions on site at CFT offering a chance to explore storytelling, engage with our work and create your own as a group.

Led by our experienced theatre practitioners, The Chatter Project group meet in the Pimlott Building on Tuesdays from 2pm to 3.30pm and it’s free to join thanks to generous support from an anonymous donor.

We are also able to provide transport for anyone who would struggle to get here by themselves, so don’t let distance or mobility stop you from stretching your creative muscles. And to top it off, there’s free tea and biscuits for everyone. You couldn’t wish for a more welcoming group.

Our Head of Community Outreach Louise Rigglesford says of The Chatter Project: “We’re so proud of this particular group, which has been running since 2021, and it has been joyous getting to know the participants who have formed a supportive and imaginative community of their own. The output they have shared with us goes to show there’s no age limit on creativity.”

If you or someone you know would like to find out more about joining the project, please email us at leap@cft.org.uk or call 01243 784437 and ask for Louise or Jazz.
