Aged 65+ and looking for a free space to catch up with fellow creatives and exchange ideas?
We invite you to join ‘The Chatter Project’, where stories come to life and laughter is always on the script!
This free and friendly creative storytelling project is designed for adults aged 65+. It’s all about sparking imagination, sharing life’s wonderful stories, making new friends, and (if you fancy it) creating a bit of theatre together along the way.
No experience? No problem! You don’t need to be an actor, writer or artist – all that’s needed is a love of good company and a dash of imagination.
We meet every Tuesday afternoon, 2pm–3.30pm at Chichester Festival Theatre. Each session is led by experienced theatre practitioners from CFT.
Expect plenty of lively chat, fun creative exercises, a spot of writing, and maybe even the chance to share your creations in a relaxed showcase (if you’d like to, of course). To top it all off there’s free tea and biscuits for everyone. What’s not to love?
Need a lift? We can arrange transport to and from the theatre, so getting here is easy.
And just between us, past Chatter Project groups have even received exclusive invites to special events at the theatre…..
What do current members have to say about the project?
‘I can’t remember the last time I laughed that much.’
‘Mature, intelligent conversation with loads of fun and good biscuits.’
‘Chatter Project is an extremely friendly group that has helped me express myself more.’
If you would like to join the chatter (or if you’re just curious to know more) email leap@cft.org.uk or call 01243 784437 and ask for Louise or Jazz.
