Horatio Gould is a critically acclaimed comedian, podcaster, writer and filmmaker. His comedy encompasses sharp, witty observations with cutting humour, and his solo shows and tours always sell out to high acclaim. Most well-known as co-host of the hugely popular Fin vs History podcast, topping podcast and Patreon charts both in the UK and worldwide. He is also known for work online including the medieval parody of modern male podcasts and his hugely viral series every TV show in the 2000s, as well as the hit podcast Boys Gone Wild. Alongside his stand-up and podcasts, he is also the co-creator of smash hit web-series Fin vs The Internet (70 million views on Instagram 2 million on YouTube), and has directed two of Seann Walsh’s comedy specials (Kiss and Dead).
Aidan Jones is a Colombian/Australian comedian who recently moved to London and is taking the UK scene by storm. Known for his disarming vulnerability, sharp punchlines, and effortless storytelling, he is widely celebrated for his highly praised Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Chopin's Nocturne, which combines stand-up comedy with live classical piano performances. He has a stand-up special, Taco, on Amazon and was named The Guardian's Best Shows of the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2025.
Foo is a stand-up and improvisational comedian, originally from South Africa and now based in Oxford. He won the 2024 Chortle Student Comedy Award, Beat the Frog at Manchester’s Frog and Bucket, and came runner-up at our Chichester Fringe New Act of the Year 2026 competition. Foo has been described as 'pacy self-assured performer' whose sets are 'gag-filled' (Chortle), as well as having 'Generation-Game-style smarm' (Daily Info).

Your visit
Make yourself at home in our new space
The Nest is our new venue - you'll find us between the Festival Theatre and Northgate Car Park amongst the trees on the CFT site. The Nest has 120 seats which are unreserved, general admission - so get here early if you want your pick of the seats!
There is an entry ramp leading to The Nest from the walkway of the CFT site and we have two wheelchair spaces in The Nest. We have an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities, and one other toilet - you're also welcome to pop across the road to the Minerva Theatre and use the toilets there too.
We have a bar at The Nest which opens 45 minutes before the show starts so you can grab a drink before heading in. The bar is located in our small but perfectly formed front of house space which is open to the elements, we also have some seats and tables on our outdoor decking space when the weather allows.

We're tight on space at The Nest and don't have a cloakroom or space for luggage or big bags, so please pack light.

Rail
Chichester Station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride away, with regular direct links to London Victoria, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Gatwick Airport. Connect to London Waterloo trains at nearby Havant. Visit nationalrail.co.uk or call 08457 484950 for timetables, restricted services and other details.
Walking directions from the station (20 minute walk):
Head out of the main entrance towards The Foundry Pub, walk past the pub with it on your left and straight up South Street until you come to The Cross (stone monument) which indicates an intersection of four streets. Continue straight ahead up North Street. At the top of North Street is a ring road, take the pedestrian underpass to North Gate Car Park and continue through the car park to reach The Nest on the far side.
Bus
The number 60 Stagecoach bus stops near the Theatre. Visit the Stagecoach website for more information.
Cycling?
We're linked to the city’s cycle lane network and our bike park can hold 26 bicycles. It's right next to the Pimlott Building by the park, just off the Theatre’s access road. chichester.gov.uk/cycling
Car-pooling with friends?
The M27 and A27 run along the coast, linking Hampshire, Sussex and Kent. The M3, A3, A29, A259 and A24 connect Portsmouth, Southampton, Mid-Sussex and London. Use the map above for directions to Chichester Festival Theatre. It's also worth looking out for scheduled roadworks on the West Sussex Council website.
We'd encourage you to think green and minimise car travel where possible but recognise that driving may be your only travel option. If so, you have the option to carbon-offset your journey for £1, when booking your tickets. Parking
Northgate Car Park (PO19 6AA) is a 900-space council-run pay and display car park right on our doorstep, which charges from 8am until 8pm Monday - Saturday and 10am until 5pm on Sundays. You can pay by cash, card and contactless and the MiPermit app - chichester.gov.uk/mipermit
As we're so conveniently located, the car park can get very busy, and often full with city centre shoppers as well as our audiences. Allow plenty of time to park (especially if you're coming to a matinee!) and consider alternative car parks in Chichester. You can find all options at chichester.gov.uk/parking.
Parking for disabled patrons
If you have a Blue Badge you can park anywhere in Northgate Car Park free of charge. There are 8 non-reservable spaces close to the Theatre entrance. Visit Chichester District Council for other available car parks.
We have a 'drop off' area in front of the Theatres, which you can access from the Broyle Road entrance.
