Ryan is the Associate Designer for Creation Theatre in Oxford, an Associate Lecturer on Theatre Design at the University of Chichester and a Visiting Lecturer on Set Design at the Brit School.

He studied Design at the University of Brighton (BA Hons 1st Class).
