The InterGen Collective
–About The InterGen Collective
Created and performed by members of Chichester Festival Theatre’s inaugural InterGen Collective, join us for a brand-new devised performance exploring the theme of family and the ties that connect us across generations.
Bringing together a company of people aged 11 to 80+, participants have spent time sharing stories, ideas and experiences through theatre, movement and music. Through a series of collaborative workshops, they have created an original and deeply personal piece that celebrates the many forms family can take – from those we are born into to those we discover, build and create for ourselves.
At a time when generations can often feel divided, The InterGen Collective offers a space for connection, creativity and play. Exploring relationships, memories and community, the performance challenges assumptions, celebrates difference and reveals the common ground that unites us.
Heartfelt and imaginative, this project showcases the power of people coming together to tell stories, learn from one another and create something entirely new. Join us to experience an original work whose collective voices prove that, whatever our age, we often have more in common than we think.
Performances will take place in the Steven Pimlott Building:
Friday 7 August 5pm
Saturday 8 August 12pm
