May half term

Why not 'Caesar' the day and 'Roman' down to Chichester this May half term. On 27 May, join Mrs Blossom Makes to design and craft your very own Centurion Shield. All materials are provided so you can unleash your inner gladiator and wield your creation at the free re-enactment in Priory Park on Thursday 29 May. You can witness thrilling combat, military drills, and fascinating living history displays as skilled re-enactors transport you to the heart of the Roman Empire.

This event are part of Chichester's award-winning Roman Week which celebrates the city's rich Roman heritage with a series of district-wide events designed to engage visitors of all ages.

Why not extend your visit with a visit to Oaklands Park or pop into our family friendly spaces which can be found near the stairs (and Café on the Park) in the Festival Theatre foyer. Children can discover toys, colouring-in, fancy dress and books in our nooks. We can't wait to welcome you... but a quick request, once you've finished playing, please have a little tidy; it means more families can enjoy their time here at CFT!
