At Chichester Festival Theatre, we want everyone to have the best possible experience. It's one of our top priorities. That’s why we are proud to offer Dementia Friendly performances, designed to create a welcoming and relaxed experience for people living with dementia, along with their families or carers.

During these performances, we keep the lighting dimmed and reduce any sudden or loud sounds. At the start of each act, someone will give a brief recap of the story and characters to help everyone follow along comfortably.

Our Front of House team receive specialist training so they can provide extra support and make every visit as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
