Our Youth Theatre welcomes 850 young people every week to build confidence, new skills and lasting friendships. This year marks the 40th anniversary of CFYT. Young people are growing up with few creative opportunities both in and out of school. Too many are missing out on the benefits of taking part in arts activities. CFYT is a welcoming, supportive space for young people to unleash their creativity and express themselves. Participants grow their confidence and public speaking skills through annual performance opportunities.

We need to raise £146,000 in donations a year for CFYT. The termly fees only cover half of the running costs and over 20% of participants receive a bursary to remove financial barriers to taking part. During December, donations to the Youth Theatre will be doubled, so however much you can give, your support will make twice the difference!
