CFT is looking to expand our list of brilliant backstage theatre technicians. 

We are interested in technicians with experience in the following areas, as well as multi skilled technicians who can work across all teams:

Stage Crew - the undisputed backbone of the production team, Stage Crew are responsible for the loading in and out of shows, constructing and maintaining scenery and running show plots. 

Lighting Technicians - responsible for rigging, focussing, operating and maintaining shows as well as making electrical props, installing set electrics…you get to do a bit of everything! 

Sound Technicians- responsible for show rigging, show operation, show maintenance and radio mic running. You will have experience of setting up sound systems, ideally of running radio mics and be familiar with show control systems such as Qlab. 

If you have theatre experience with a flexible approach to work, are proactive and self-motivated, with a proven ability to problem solve and deal quickly and effectively with unexpected situations then we would love you hear from you!
