What's good to do around here?

We're lucky in Chichester to have so many brilliant things to see and do that you can easily fill a weekend. We've got the South Downs, we've got the sea and we've got a ton of cultural organisations and tourist attractions right on our doorstep. So if you're visiting Chi (pronounced "Ch-eye" by the locals) for the first time, here are some of our friends you really should meet.

Pallant House Gallery

Our pals (see what we did there?) over at Pallant House have one of the leading collections of Modern British art.

The Novium Museum

Built over the remains of a Roman bath house, with three floors of fantastic exhibitions and free entry. The award-winning Novium is top of our list for newcomers to the city.

Chichester Cathedral

Over nine centuries old and it doesn't look a day over eight. Full of beautiful music and artworks, including the famous Chagall window.

Graylingwell Chapel

A welcoming community venue, in their own words Graylingwell is a great place to "wander and wonder".

Chichester Canal

Boat trips, rowing, paddle boarding, model boating... Sounds busy but it's so beautiful! Top tip: on a sunny day enjoy a walk from town to Chichester Marina along the towpath.
