Cinematography with Vicki Landi

Creative Industries Careers Day

Telling Stories Through the Lens

3 February, 1.45pm - 3pm

About Cinematography with Vicki Landi

Discover the Craft Behind the Camera
Lights, camera, creativity! In this 90-minute session for students thinking about a creative career, dive into the world of cinematography - the art of visual storytelling in film, TV, and digital media. Learn how camera angles, lighting, and composition shape the mood and message of a scene. Explore study options and career paths in the screen industries, from camera operator to director of photography.

Get hands-on with a practical activity that lets you experiment with framing and lighting to create your own cinematic moment. Whether you're a budding filmmaker or just curious about what happens behind the scenes, this session is your gateway to a visually powerful career.

This event is part of our Creative Industries Career Day. An unmissable day of discovery in the creative industries.

You'll find more inspiring sessions with creative organisations large and small; chances to meet with artists, designers, theatre-makers, writers and creatives, and find out about careers that you didn’t even know existed.
