News Story

Our Prologue Ambassadors are brilliant volunteers aged 16-30 who help us shout about the Prologue scheme that gives 16-30s access to £5 tickets at CFT. There are £5 Prologue tickets available for every show in the Festival Season, and they shared what they’re looking forward to…

Ella and Noel’s top pick is The Other Boleyn Girl, opening the season in the Festival Theatre:

I’m really excited to see what it’s all about as I don’t know anything about Mary Boleyn and her life. It’s definitely going to be a great start to the season and I’m looking forward to the staging, set and especially the costumes!

Noel

I love period dramas and am excited to see the portrayal of some iconic historical figures.

Susie shared why she's looking forward to The House Party, coming up first in the Minerva:

It's going to be a great night out. Groups of friends can enjoy live music and a drink in the bar before being absorbed in a thought-provoking play. I'm thrilled to see it's in association with Frantic Assembly. Best of all you can buy immersive tickets so you can get in with the action!

And Alex and Ella are both interested in The Caretaker:

I’m looking forward to seeing this gritty drama on stage. It has a great cast and I’m really intrigued to see the set design as I love how creative the crew can be with sets!

Alex

I’m super intrigued because I’ve never seen a Harold Pinter play before.

Ella

All our Prologue Ambassadors were excited when we announced this year’s musical, Oliver!:

Honestly who wouldn’t love to see this classic musical?!

Ella

Three of the dramas stood out to Maria, Grace and Honami:

I’m really looking forward to The Spy Who Came In From The Cold. It’s guaranteed to be a thrilling watch especially for those who enjoy historical fiction and action like me!

Maria

My top pick this festival season would definitely be Coram Boy. I am really looking forward to the staging and how the set will work, as the location changes so much in this story.

Grace

I can’t wait for Redlands! It handles a trial in Chichester involving the one and only Rolling Stones and I’m really excited to learn about such a poignant moment not only in pop culture history but one in our local area.
