News Story

Take a look at what's still to come in Festival 2023 as we take you inside the rehearsal rooms for our upcoming shows.

Coming up next in the Minerva Theatre from 1 - 30 September, we have a world premiere written by comedian, screenwriter and host of the global hit podcast The Guilty Feminist, Deborah Frances-White.

Never Have I Ever is set in a boutique restaurant, where a drinking game reveals long-hidden truths for a group of old friends. Alexandra Roach, Amit Shah, Greg Wise and Susan Wokoma star in this savagely funny play, and we're so excited to share a first taste with you - take a look at the production photos below, or head to the show page for the full gallery and how to book.

That's not where it ends for exciting rehearsal room sneak peeks! Rehearsals for A View from the Bridge are in full swing. This is the first Arthur Miller play to hit our stages and is a visceral and compelling masterpiece of unspoken desires, obsessive jealousy and tribal loyalties. Our striking new co-production with Headlong, Octagon Theatre Bolton and Rose Theatre plays in the Festival Theatre from 6 to 28 October.

Take a look at what the cast have been up to inside the rehearsal room, and head over to the show page to book your tickets.

And if that's not enough excitement for you, our next Festival Theatre show, Quiz, starts rehearsals Mon 21 Aug, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
