Job Description

CFT are looking for a cohort of participatory artists to take part in (B)old, a pioneering participatory arts project that empowers people living with dementia through performing, visual, and digital arts. In recognition of the communities we are working with, we are seeking additional artists who identify as part of the global majority.

Thanks to funding received through The Dementia Trust’s Disruption Awards, we are proud to be co-creating this project with Arti Prashar OBE, a leader in participatory arts for dementia, and our own Head of Community Outreach, Louise Rigglesford.

Successful (B)old artists will be invited to attend a 3-day training programme, delivered by Arti and Louise, onsite at CFT from 17-19 November. This training will focus on how to adapt the delivery of participatory arts sessions specifically for people living with dementia, and will culminate with a practical workshop led by the (B)old artists to a group of invited participants living with dementia, followed by feedback and mentoring from both Arti and Louise.
