When can I book my tickets?
For Festival 2017 we are introducing an Early Bird booking period for Prologue members. This means that you can book your Prologue tickets for all productions in the Festival Season in one go, rather than having to wait until a month before each production opens! Prologue members will be able to book from Saturday 4 March, and will need to be logged in to access the tickets - so make sure you register as a member with a valid date of birth before 3 March. You can use Prologue tickets up to the day before your 26th birthday, so if you're booking for the whole season in one go make sure your ID will be valid for all of your bookings (showing you are between the ages of 16 to 25) as you will need it to collect your tickets before each performance.
As before we will also keep an allocation of Prologue seats for productions and release them one month before each show begins. Exclusive events for 16 to 25 year olds go on sale when general booking opens for the season.
How can I book?
You can book online (log in to your account and look for the orange stars on the seating plan), by calling the Box Office on 01243 781312, or in person at Chichester Festival Theatre, Oaklands Park, Chichester PO19 6AP. The tickets will then be held at Box Office for collection on the day of the performance, and you'll need to bring proof of age with you.
How many tickets can I book?
You can book up to two Prologue tickets per performance (subject to availability), so you can bring a 16-25 year old friend to introduce them to the scheme. You can also book additional full price tickets for anyone outside the age range in the same booking.
When do I get my tickets?
Tickets will be held for collection until the day of the performance. Pick them up from the Box Office from one hour before the show.
Will I need identification?
Yes. Photo ID must be shown when collecting your ticket(s), indicating that you are between the ages of 16 and 25. One ID must be shown per ticket, so if you're bringing a 16-25 year old friend remind them that they will need to bring theirs! We accept a valid passport, driver’s licence, birth certificate, or a PASS approved card.
Can I see productions in both Theatres?
We are delighted to offer Prologue tickets for all productions in the Festival and Minerva Theatres during the Festival season. In the Winter season, tickets are available for some productions – look out for the Prologue logo to see which ones they are.
When can I see a production?
You can come along on any date (subject to availability).
What if I go with someone older or younger? Will we be able to sit together?
Prologue tickets are in specific areas of the auditoria, so it may not be possible to sit together, but if there is availability you can book them a full price ticket next to your Prologue one. However if you inadvertently buy a £5 ticket for someone outside the 16 to 25 age range, please note we cannot upgrade their ticket to full price or to another concessionary price. We reserve the right to refuse admission if these tickets have been incorrectly purchased.
How do I find out when additional tickets have been released?
We will announce when additional tickets have been released via our website and social media, so make sure you're following us on Twitter and Facebook. We'll also send an email announcement when tickets are released so make sure your email preferences on My Account are up to date if you want to receive them. tickets are released one month before a production opens.
Where can I use my discount off food and drink?
The 10% discount off food and drink can be used in The Cafe, Foyle Terrace and Minerva Bar & Grill on presentation of a Prologue membership card (available from the Box Office). The discount only applies to alcohol when bought with food, and you will be asked to present ID showing that you are over 18.
Can other members of my group use my 10% discount?
Only the Prologue membership card-holder is eligible for the discount. It cannot be used to buy food or drinks for other members of your group, and it cannot be applied to a joint bill.
