Magical family treat and a joy to watch

Mumsnet

Had my 4-year-old captivated from start to finish!

Time for Tots

From the author of the well-loved children’s book Dear Zoo, Rod Campbell, comes a Christmas present children and parents alike will never forget.

Santa is determined to deliver the Christmas present to our little hero Sarah. But he doesn’t get it right straight away! With the help of his cheeky Elf, he finally settles on something ‘perfect’, just in time for Christmas Eve.

All the ingredients of Rod Campbell’s ingeniously simple and charming style are brought to life on stage, plus a whole lot more, with music, laughter and plenty of audience participation.

A perfect introduction to theatre for little ones.

Meet Santa after the show

How do I book to see Santa?
The meet and greet with Santa is only available to ticketholders for Dear Santa after their performance. Please note that this is only a short meeting as Santa is exceedingly busy this time of year.

How will the meet and greet with Santa work?
Individual bubbles will meet Santa in his Grotto (Minerva Bar & Grill) for a quick hello and photo opportunity. We are welcoming families in three time slots to help manage the queue and ensure social distancing is possible. Elves will be on hand to keep everyone full of Christmas cheer and we expect that all families within each timeslot will be seen within 15 minutes of their arrival time.

Due to COVID-19 we will be approaching the meet and greet with Santa very carefully. Once you have booked your tickets for a performance we will allocate you a time-slot to meet Santa, which will be within 45 minutes of the performance ending. We will send you confirmation of your meet and greet time-slot within 2 working days of booking tickets. This will enable us to reduce the amount of families waiting in the queue and allow parents/guardians to plan their visit accordingly. There will be a one way system and lots of helpers to make sure you know which way to go. Children will receive a small gift to take home as they exit.

Time-slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis and we ask everyone to adhere to their time so that we can offer the best COVID-safe experience to everyone.

What shall I do while I wait?
We will open a small waiting area in The Brasserie for families waiting for their time-slot. We ask that families please remain in their bubbles. We will provide children with a small colouring-in pack to keep small hands busy while they wait!

Where can I eat or drink?
The Café in the Festival Theatre will be open before and after the show. It’s a great spot for barista coffee, hot drinks, cakes and pastries. Child friendly snacks will also be available.

We have distanced seating in our light and spacious foyers so customers can visit safely, and our menu continues to offer gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Outdoor seating is available (for the brave!) and for little ones, we have high chairs and baby changing facilities in all toilets.
