A highlight for children... giving them a taste of some of the biggest names in comedy with the fun, rowdy feel of a real comedy clubGuardian
It’s a comedy club, right, but for kids. Also any adults who enjoy a swear-free hour with the circuit’s best stand-ups and sketch acts. Non-patronising. Pure awesome.
Since 2005, the Comedy Club 4 Kids has been getting the best stand-ups and sketch acts to do their thing for an audience of children and their families. A decade later, the company has expanded from one London residency to being countrywide, running shows and workshops all over the UK from Peebles to Portsmouth, even producing a book on how to write and perform stand-up.
The show is family-friendly, but without any patronising idiocy. In fact, it's just like a normal comedy club, but it's on in the day, kids are allowed in, and thus there is a higher than usual chance of heckles like 'why is that your face!?'
The perfect way to entertain the whole familyThree Weeks
As well as his regular touring shows Little Howard's Big Show For Kids and Annabelle's Skirting Board Adventure this Christmas, Howard Read is creating a new show with Tiernan Douieb and the lovely folk at Comedy Club 4 Kids. Read will be compering this comedy cavalcade featuring family friendly stand-up, songs and animation!
Wildly brandishing the worlds' second largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props, George Egg bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see. He has been hailed as ' a Tommy Cooper for the twenty first century' and through tears of laughter you'll see why.
A true cross between alternative stand-up comedy and music hall variety.

Australian-born and now London-based, Bec Hill has gained a cult following in Australia, the UK and Ireland thanks to her award-winning solo shows, Twitter presence and popular YouTube videos. She has a talent for incorporating arts and crafts into her stand-up routines, creating a unique and unforgettable comedy style that she calls “paper-puppetry”.
Her one-liners regularly feature in 'best joke' lists, which isn't surprising, as she is the creator of the UK’s only pun-based comedy night, Pun Run. She is also one half of the award-winning, critically-acclaimed family comedy double-act, Bec & Tom.
