Captions provide an English text version of spoken words, and any sounds that are important to understanding the content, synchronised with the streamed video. Captions will be positioned on the bottom of the screen in black idents with white text. 

This Encore performance will be streamed at 7pm GMT on 22 March and will then be available to watch On Demand until 11.59pm GMT on 25 March.

Another chance to see the acclaimed concert Celebrating Sondheim. 

This dazzling cornucopia of music and song – originally staged last autumn to celebrate the musical legend’s 90th birthday year – sees CFT Artistic Director Daniel Evans joined on the Festival Theatre stage by stars from the West End to perform numbers from some of Sondheim’s major and lesser-known works. This encore streaming is broadcast on the composer’s 91st birthday.

Gabrielle Brooks wowed audiences at CFT’s Concert in the Park and has also appeared in The Wizard of Oz, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and The Book of Mormon. 

Clive Rowe was last seen in Chichester in Me and My Girl and before that, Kiss Me Kate; he won an Olivier Award for Guys and Dolls at the National Theatre.

Jenna Russell starred opposite Daniel Evans in Sunday in the Park with George in London and on Broadway, for which they both won Olivier Awards and were nominated for Tonys. Jenna’s recent musical credits include The Bridges of Madison County and Fun Home. Daniel also won an Olivier Award for Merrily We Roll Along in the West End.

Hannah Waddingham returns to Chichester following Kiss Me, Kate (2012), which transferred to London and for which she received an Olivier nomination. Her West End musical credits also include A Little Night Music (Olivier nomination) and Into The Woods.

What can I watch on?

Watch on your computer, tablet or phone using your web browser. Please make sure it is up to date. We recommend using Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox. Please do not use Internet Explorer.

You can watch via Google Chromecast (2nd generation or newer).

You can also watch on Apple, Android or Fire TV. You will need to download the TicketCo TV app from the relevant App Store. Please note you need TVos 13+ on Apple TV, or Android TV version 7.0+ to use the app.

How do I watch?

Our streaming partner TicketCo has an easy to use guide on their website. We recommend you use this as it is always up to date.

I can't find my email with the reference code

The email should have arrived within a few minutes of you confirming your booking. It would be from TicketCo AS, not CFT. Check your junk folder and if you still can't find it, don't worry, you can easily retrieve your booking. Go to the TicketCo website and click on the grey button that says Find your purchased tickets. Enter your email address and a link will be sent that will allow you to download a PDF file with your reference code. Go to ticketco.tv and enter your 5 digit code to watch.

I bought multiple tickets but there is only one code in the email

You will have received an email for each ticket booked. Each email contains one reference code. The emails may look the same, but the unique five digit code will be different. If you have deleted some of the emails because you thought they were the same, just go to the TicketCo website and click on the grey button that says Find your purchased tickets. Enter your email address and a link will be sent that will allow you to download PDF files with your reference codes. Go to ticketco.tv and enter your 5 digit code to watch.

I keep being locked out

Have you shared your code with anyone else? Only one device can use a reference code at a time. If you bought multiple tickets, make sure you haven't sent the email with the code you are using to someone else. 

I can only see a countdown clock

You've arrived early! Come back 30 minutes before the stream is due to start to check everything is working correctly and we may have some exclusive videos for you! For on-demand events, the video will be available from the start time detailed in your email.

The livestream page is not loading

Refresh your browser and try again, or try a different browser - we recommend up to date versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

The image is not very clear / I can't hear it

Your internet signal may be dropping in and out. Click on the cog on the player to adjust the quality - you may need to set it to a lower level so it can stream through your internet. If you are still having problems, try a different browser and disconnect any other devices that may be using the same internet connection. 

If you can't hear the stream, first check your volume. If you are connecting a computer or mobile device to your television with a cable, it may not be compatible with audio.  

Can I watch this event again?

On-demand events are available for the time frame detailed in your confirmation email. The event will go offline at the time stipulated, even if you are still watching and have not reached the end. You can re-watch the event as many times as you wish within the timeframe it is available.
