Our further education opportunities are designed to inspire and challenge students aged 16-18 to delve deeper into our productions and to discover more about careers in Theatre.
Our Insight Workshops explore the production process for key shows in our season and we have digital resources available for selected productions to support learning in school or college. Our Prologue scheme for 16-25 year olds also offers access to great seats for just £5 and exclusive events, encouraging independent theatregoing alongside their studies.

Alongside selected productions, these workshops develop understanding of artistic intentions, design elements and key aspects of the story. Delivered before or after your theatre visit, these practical workshops will support student responses to live theatre.

Focus: Performance Analysis, Theatre Design, Understanding Text
Duration: 2 hours

Cost: £5 per pupil
Led by a member of our production team, Technical Tasters offer insight into backstage roles, technology and skills involved in creating a production. Participants explore a technical element through practical, hands-on tasks with opportunities to ask questions, learning how design leads to what audiences experience on stage.
These workshops are led by CFT staff or freelance creatives so are available on selected dates at the Theatre in:
