We offer bespoke workshops for Post 16 students linked to current productions. Sessions can be tailored to study needs or a specific production focus and are designed to offer students a deeper understanding of the production they attend.
Insight Workshops are available throughout the academic year for learners, either within your venue, or a CFT on selected dates.

We open our doors for a creative careers day at Festival Theatre. Learners can find out about the wide range of careers in theatre, and the breadth of transferable skills involved. The day will also include a tour of Festival Theatre and an opportunity to gain insight into career pathways, including creative apprenticeships, work or further study.

Students can learn more about creative or technical elements of a Festival Theatre production whilst immersed in the theatre space. Participants could engage with creatives such as a musical director, set designer or lighting technician to gain insight into the transition from page to stage through practical demonstrations and discussion.
Theatre Days are an exciting addition to attending a matinee performance.

Post 16 Technical Tasters
Led by Festival Theatre Technical teams, Technical Tasters offer learners insight into backstage theatre roles. Participants could find out how costumes or props are designed, how sets are realised or how to light a performance.
Learners also have the opportunity to ask questions and experience technical or stage equipment during a 90-minute taster. Technical Tasters are available at selected times throughout the year.
