Omid Djalili

Omid Djalili is an actor and stand-up comedian joining the company on the back of a multinational tour of his show Schmuck For A Night (not an audition to play Tevye).

Some theatre credits include The Shawshank Redemption (Edinburgh); What the Butler Saw (Vaudeville Theatre) and Fagin in Oliver! (Theatre Royal Drury Lane).

Some television he has done includes Going Forward, Lucky Man, Dickensian, two seasons of The Omid Djalili Show and on US network television, Whoopi, The Paul Reiser Show and his own HBO stand-up Special.

Some films he has done include Disney's The Nutcracker (2018), Shaun the Sheep, Sex and the City 2, The Infidel, Mr Nice, Pirates of the Caribbean III, Grow Your Own, Over the Hedge, Casanova, Alien Autopsy, Modigliani, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Calcium Kid, Anita & Me, Mean Machine, Spygame, Gladiator and The Mummy.

Omid also produced We Are Many a feature documentary about the global anti-war demonstrations of February 15th 2003.
