New project 'Rise Up' for young environmental activists

CFT's Education Trainee Hannah Millard is launching a brand new digital project called Rise Up, and invites anyone aged 16 to 25 interested in becoming an artistic activist to get involved.

We’re looking for creative film submissions inspired by your thoughts on protecting and preserving our planet. Your creation could be anything from spoken word to animation, or a piece of music. Selected submissions will form part of a short film produced by CFT, shared during an online event on 30 October.

Young people aged 16 to 25 of any background or location are invited to share their creations, filmed in interesting and curious ways.

You can also join us for the Rise Up premiere event on 30 October, the first sharing of the short film alongside a Q&A with talented individuals from across the creative arts, eco-activism and environmentalism spheres.

Submissions close at 11pm on 16 October. Watch our introduction video and download the information pack below for more details on how to get involved.
