From 13 – 29 June, a photographic exhibition from our charity partner Stonepillow, It’s Not All Black and White, can be seen in the Festival Theatre foyer. With images by the acclaimed photographer, Dan Stevens, the exhibition has been curated to raise vital funds and awareness of Stonepillow’s work.
The black and white portraits displayed on the concrete blades in the foyer feature some of Stonepillow’s clients, who were brave enough to share their story of how they became homeless and how they have turned their lives around with support from the charity.
The exhibition coincides with Stonepillow’s 30th anniversary. The idea behind it is that we cannot just make assumptions about homeless people. Life is not easy, and it is certainly never black and white.
Stonepillow offers shelter, information and support to empower homeless and vulnerable people to make positive changes in their lives. Over the last 30 years, the charity has expanded their services across West Sussex to support the growing number of people who find themselves on the streets.
