David Haig's Pressure transfers to Toronto

David Haig’s acclaimed play Pressure, based on the remarkable true story of two warring Allied meteorologists tasked with predicting the weather conditions for the D-Day landings and originally seen in Chichester’s Festival 2014, will transfer to the CAA Theatre in Toronto from 23 September to 13 December 2020, presented by Mirvish Productions.

John Dove directs Kevin Doyle (Downton Abbey, This House) as Scottish meteorologist Group Captain James Stagg. Reprising their original roles are Malcolm Sinclair, who was Olivier Award-nominated for his role as General Eisenhower, and Laura Rogers as Kay Summersby.

Pressure premiered at Chichester Festival Theatre and Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh in 2014, and was followed in 2018 by a national tour, a run at London’s Park Theatre and a West End season.
