Volunteering

We offer a variety of heritage activities that enable people to engage with our building and history in different ways. Our vibrant heritage work depends on the continued support of valued volunteers, and offers opportunities to gain skills, meet new people and develop confidence.

We are always keen to expand our volunteering pool and would love to hear from individuals of all abilities and backgrounds who are interested in the Theatre and its history.

Training is provided for each volunteer role. Detailed role descriptions are available further down this page.

DIGITISATION

Our digitisation sessions provide opportunities to learn a variety of digital archiving skills including scanning, labelling, uploading and image editing in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment.

Alongside gaining archiving knowledge, individuals can develop IT skills and learn more about our renowned productions since 1962.

For more information about our heritage activities, email leap@cft.org.uk

Our extensive archive offers insight into our history and productions. Find out more on our history pages.
