We pride ourselves on being a family friendly venue - both on stage and off - and we’re always delighted to welcome our youngest visitors and their grown-ups to the Theatre, whether to watch a show, take part in a workshop, or simply to have a cuppa while using our free Wi-Fi.

EVENTS, CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Families can come together to explore and engage with CFT through a variety of Family Friendly workshops, events and activities, including Little Notes (music classes for newborns to 4 years old) and holiday activities. FAMILY FRIENDLY SHOWS
There's plenty to enjoy with your family during our Winter season including from classics like Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book and Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Match Girl and Other Happier Tales, to free storytelling sessions at Chichester Library, and don't miss our award-winning Youth Theatre's Christmas production of Beauty and the Beast. Our light and airy café is open Monday to Saturday from 10am, and serves fantastic coffee, a range of hot and cold drinks, freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and snacks for little ones. Outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi are available. We have baby changing facilities in female, male and disabled toilets, and lots of space for buggies and lively toddlers! The Theatre is right next to Northgate Car Park, a 900-space pay and display car park. Alternatively, we're a pleasant 20 minute walk from Chichester Train station, and the number 60 Stagecoach bus stops nearby. See cft.org.uk/getting-here for more info on transport links.
PLAY CAFÉ & FAMILY FRIENDLY FOYLE
Join us before Comedy Club 4 Kids!, Penguin and Tales from the Shedin our pop-up Play Café in the Minerva Bar & Grill; little ones can enjoy free crafts, colouring in and a reading zone while you treat yourself to a coffee and cake. There will be bean bags, play mats and lots craft activities for all ages.
If you're looking for somewhere new to take your pre-schoolers or catch up with some mum-friends, join us on Thursdays from 10am - 12.30pm in our new Family Friendly zone in the Festival Theatre’s Foyle Terrace.
