First prize winners in the 2011 Royal Over-Seas League Competition and winners of the ‘Special Prize’ at the 2011 Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition, the Cavaleri Quartet made their Wigmore Hall debut in 2010. The Quartet has performed extensively throughout the UK, and further afield in the Rachmaninov Hall, Moscow, and at the Teatro Monumental, Madrid.

Jonathan Barritt is a very versatile artist, much in demand as soloist and chamber musician. Currently principal viola of the English Chamber Orchestra, he has worked with many chamber groups and for six years was a member of the Allegri Quartet.

• Dvořák - Quintet in E flat Op.97
